Kelly "Falls" for our Lord

kelly-brook

Yes, its true ! The latest stage of the Lynx Ad campaign involved Will Kelly fall for You ? - an interactive application featuring Kelly Brook and was launched on facebook and staged at The Penthouse. Lynx new fragrance " Excite" is so potent that even angels fall is a fresh idea and when talking about a party so good Angels would fall from heaven to be on the guest list.
There could only be one heavenly venue, The Penthouse London and one Party Lord, Lord Jason Scott, to lead them all to a heaven scent(ed) nirvana on the 7th and 8th floor of Number 1 Leicester Square . I was lucky enough to host the night with Kelly Brook and an amazing team from The Lounge group planned the heavenly night with my own Angel ( Keeley O’Mahony) however neither threats from hell or promises from heaven will get me to tell you any more… I only told you this much so I could show you the picture below...

The Princess Trust Awards After party with the Royal choice of Lord Scott at The Penthouse

The actual reception will follow an awards ceremony taking place at the Odeon in Leicester Square. The awards are to honour the young people but the reception was for one of the fundraising initiatives called 'Million Makers'. Corporate companies across the country are challenged to raise £10k for The Prince's Trust (and they will all add to a £1 million target, thus the name 'Million Makers'). They all attend the awards ceremony at the Odeon to put into context the work of the charity and where their money raised will go. The reception will be to announce the winner of 'Million Makers', who will be the company who have raised the most amount of money and to thank them for their fundraising efforts. It will also be a opportunity for them to network with one another and where better then at The Penthouse with its stunning views and with the mover and shaker himself making sure to press palms and raise money for this noble cause.

"The Prince's Trust Million Makers' Challenge is a great concept for a great cause. It enables teams of talented young people, in good jobs, to help other young people who are less fortunate than themselves. At the same time, while raising substantial sums for The Prince's Trust, it enables these teams to develop some important business skills. Bond Pearce is delighted to be supporting team £unds+ in the Million Makers' Challenge."

If you want magic in your events, who do you turn to ?

Harry Potter , Warwick Davis and Hedwig, Harry Potter's owl were all with Lord Scott yesterday to discuss how the studios where the films were made will be turned into a theme park! The Leavesden Studios is set to be turned into a tourist attraction with fans able to tour the sets where the films were shot. Rupert said: "We used to write on the walls and they're actually recreating [them] and turning the studio into an attraction, actually recreating all the rooms so you can go in them." Obviously it won't be a patch on the Orlando theme park but we're still excited to have a slice of Potter history in the UK!

The visitor attraction north of London will include costumes and recreations of some of the boy wizard's haunts, such as the Hogwarts school hall and Albus Dumbledore's study. The planned set tours — part of an expansion of Leavesden, the Warner Bros studio in Hertfordshire — are Britain's answer to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a 20-acre attraction at the Universal resort in Orlando, Florida, due to open on Friday, the Sunday Times reports.

Mayor Boris Johnson last month wrote that the UK was "utterly mad to leave it to the Americans to make money from a great British invention". Warner is reportedly to spend more than £100 million on buying and expanding Leavesden, which it currently rents. Plans to turn Leavesden into permanent studio approved, Harry Potter visitor attraction opening in 2012 It was a few weeks ago when we reported that plans were underway to turn Leavesden Studios – the huge complex where all eight Harry Potter films have been shot – into a full on studio and keep a permanent Harry Potter area for fans who'd like to see the real sets.

Warner Brothers, which has brought world-wide fame to the former aerodrome complex with its Harry Potter franchise, can now begin a programme of redevelopment worth an estimated 100 million pounds – creating hundreds of jobs and providing a boost to the local economy.

hp hp1

The company, which will now purchase the site outright and use it as its European filming base, will build new film stages, production and administration facilities. It will also open a Harry Potter themed visitor attraction to cater for up to 5,000 visitors a day. The article also says the Harry Potter visitor attraction will open in 2012. To be honest I was more excited about chatting to Warwick Davis, best known for his roles in Willow, Star Wars, The Leprechaun, Harry Potter then anyone else that said, everyone there turned out to be as wonderful to spend time with then any celebratory or wizard. Creative showcase grand prix is hosted by The Penthouse and Lord Jason Scott

The IAB are a not-for-profit trade organisation for the internet advertising community in UK decided to host there annual awards show with Lord Scott at The Penthouse London. The UK digital creative agencies were all there to give awards to the best digital campaigns of the year and showcase some of the best examples. The audience consisted of mainly creative advertising agencies, media agencies, advertisers and media owners who all seemed delighted by the view and the service
on the night and while on the subject of awards we also hosted The Cool Venue Awards for the always entertaining Wesley Mendy. The COOL Venue Awards, now in its third year, has rapidly been gathering a positive reputation in the London events industry. Set up by Prestige Events Magazine in 2007, the awards identify for its readers the venues which stand out from the rest, and allow the magazine to set its editorial compass on what is COOL for the benefit of its UK readership of event organisers. Although The penthouse did not win an award we were nominated and as host we had plenty to celebrate on the night, to see this event in all its glory, click the link below to see it all in Technicolor glory.

Dame Judi Dench is to front a new £100m advertising campaign to attract tourists to the UK, according to reports.

judi-dench

As part of a new global campaign by national tourist body, VisitBritain, the veteran actress will appear in a promotional film shot at Hever Castle Anne Boleyns childhood home just days after Prince William marries Kate Middleton on 29 April.
According to reports, VisitBritain has also approached Prince William directly about starring in its new campaign. Other stars set to appear include Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel ( this part of the advert was filmed at The Odeon Cinema on Leicester Square and on the 7th floor of The Penthouse with our beautiful event planner Keeley O'Mahony) . There is still filming scheduled with Catherine Zeta-Jones for Wales.
VisitBritain's global campaign manager Paul Eastham told UK newspaper The Sunday Times: "We will ride the wave created by the Royal wedding, diamond jubilee and Olympics to generate benefits into the future." We cannot wait to see it and to see if you catch a glimpse of the ever lovely Keeley in the background ?

Lord Scott is also proud to announce that he will be hosting and organising the Press Night for THE CHILDREN’S HOUR, a West End play with Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss.

CHprogramwref-1

Lillian Hellman's 1934 play The Children's Hour is set in a boarding school in 1930s New England run by two women, Karen Wright and Martha Dobie. When a student runs away from the school, they become entangled in a story of deceit, shame and courage.
A potent exploration of a culture of fear, The Children's Hour was banned in several cities in America and also in London, though it did receive its UK premiere there in 1936.
This production of The Children's Hour stars Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss as Karen and Martha. Knightley, who made her West End debut in The Misanthrope last year, is known the world over for her films, which include Atonement, The Pirates Of The Caribbean trilogy, Pride And Prejudice, Bend It Like Beckham and new release Never Let Me Go. Moss is an American actress who stars in the popular drama Mad Men and was previously seen in The West Wing. She appeared on Broadway in 2008 in Speed-The-Plow.
The cast comprises Lisa Backwell (Evelyn Munn), Isabella Brazier-Jones (Helen Burton), Ellen Burstyn (Mrs Amelia Tilford), Poppy Carter (Janet), Marama Corlett (Lois Fisher), Nancy Crane (Agatha), Amy Dawson (Rosalie Wells), Isabel Ellison (Catherine), Bryony Hannah (Mary Tilford), Carol Kane (Mrs Lily Mortar), Keira Knightley (Karen Wright), Tobias Menzies (Doctor Joseph Cardin), Elizabeth Moss (Martha Dobie), Nathan Nolan (Grocery Boy) and Eve Ponsonby (Peggy Rogers).
The Children’s Hour is produced by Sonia Friedman Productions & Scott Landis.
The Children's Hour director Ian Rickson is the former Artistic Director of the Royal Court whose vast career includes recent hit play Jerusalem.
Knowing Lord Scott and his premier party planning skills this will be one night not to be missed with sponsors including Moet et Chandon and Hayford & Rhodes florists to name but two who will make sure the event is a site to behold.

On Tuesday last week the team at CEM helped Noeco for the launch of the James Bond’s DB5 Magazine. Hosted by Neoco on behalf of GE Fabbri, the evening was a decadent affair with champagne and canapés galore. Our venue provided fantastic views across London but sadly the party Lord was at a premier that night so could not attend.
DB9
We at CEM also had our bond suits on as we were lucky enough to organize a press event with Neoco who were launching a collectable model of the James Bond Aston Martin DB5. See: www.007db5.com  truly to die for ….
Makes big boys want to play Guests included pinnacle members of London’s blogging scene as well as press people and Bond lovers. The DB5 model car was the center of attention, with members of the design team on site to answer any questions. Overall the event was an intimate affair, but it’s safe to say that a great time was had by all!
